Retail Theft Background Checks?

I used to work for this place and got involved with this guy that started stealing things. i never took anything myself, but i helped out and did get items for helping. we all were caught and fired for it, but i never was arrested or anything. the company said they wouldn't push charges if i helped out with them going against the older guy. so if no charges were ever filed, which it happened nearly 10 years ago, and i am going for a job that does a retail theft background check, should i worry? what will show up, will this ever show up on any record if i was never arrested or taken to trial or anything? i know nothing shows up on my regular background check, but i was uncertain about this kind of background check.
