Overwhelmed college grad. help!?
OK Lucy ... this is the practical approach. I don't know what your degree is in, but you have to think career first. The relationship side of life is secondary. You have to have a sound enjoyable career for longevity sake to provide for your future/family needs. This means you have to pick a career that is going to be there in the long run: medical field, legal field, etc.. Once you pick that, you need the proper training/education. Then you need to pick potential areas of the country you would like to live where there is a significant hiring need in your field, send out resumes, do interviews, get hired. Then you get an apartment until you are settled and are ready for something more. The relationship/marriage side will come along the way in due time. Date and marry someone who has a good career, disciplined, hard worker, kind, with integrity. All this will take time, but is worth the effort. Do the research for each step (e.g. google it, etc), write down your plan with steps, and work your plan. You graduated. That means you have plenty of ability. So being able to accomplish this is very reasonable. Be positive ! Chip
