Is the movie 10,000 BC supposed to take place in the Stargate Universe?

Stargate Universe is crap, but I just watched as much of 10,000 B.C. as I can stand, again. And it's still bad. It is set in one continent where apparently, there were those who studied in school, and those who used YA to have somebody else do their work. Ironically, caves must have been the origin of wi-fi.
