Should I drop my Communications major?

Do what your good at... It's not that they're not hiring for communications majors it's because YOU aren't applying yourself or being smart about applying... Companies hire people they know are reliable and smart... Every major requires math so that has nothing to do with it... marketing makes more money but you'll have to make an impressive resume and cover letter to get that job.. It's not like theyre going to hire you just because you majored in that.
