I took Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 in high school. Does that count as two years of HS Spanish?

I'm registering for the University of Tennesee. They ask how many years of Spanish I have had. I'm uncertain whether each semester of it counts as half a year or a full year. I took spanish one in the fall and spanish two in the spring.
