Do YOU believe we go to a "place" while we are asleep in "dreamland"?

No. I'm pretty much a hard materialist, cause and effect, brain is a machine kinda guy. BUT I can't explain awareness using the "matter and energy aren't aware (unless they're in a brain)" model and I can't explain the seeming existence of choice, which, if you ask me and you are, defies, by definition, science. Science is a search for cause. Choice, by definition, can not have a cause. Presto, if choice exists, it's magic. If magic exists at all, what other things might be magical ?
